To have as much as flavor as possible, grind your coffee beans instead of using already ground coffee. It is recommended to use a coarse, even grind and the ratio should be 7% coffee to water. Remove plunger from unit. Incorporate freshly ground coffee and add boiling water. Mix evenly with a wooden or plastic spoon. Brew for 4 minutes. Place back plunger on top of coffee press.
