I rush ordered this after reading reviews and watching a compelling YouTube video of a guy who used chanca piedra and passed two stones painlessly in one day-- even after failed lithotripsy. I figured I'd give this a shot before signing on for a bill that could easily go in excess of $16,000 (y'all I can't even afford Netflix right now, give me a break!)You get three packs for the price, pictured here next to a tablespoon for size reference. I recommend using a French press or large tea strainer, as this mix includes lots of stems in addition to leaves. Plus you won't have to get up and hobble to the kitchen to make smaller batches of tea! The taste and smell are pleasant with a little added honey. I will update here right away if this is successful for me. Deepest sympathies to anyone who is dealing with kidney stones!Update: This helped with the pain within the hour. With lots of water in between large glasses of hot chanca piedra tea with fresh lemon and some otc pain killers, I feel almost completely normal again. Two days in and I have no evidence of a stone (maybe passed it and didn't even realize?), but I'm going to keep drinking this daily until I run out and hope that the kidney stone nightmare is over. Viva chanca piedra! Good luck to everyone who tries it. :)BONUS update: If you are taking collagen, be sure you are drinking a ton of water and eating foods high in calcium along with every dose. I had to scale it back to just one tablespoon of collagen a day (nothing like the massive scoop provided with the container) and I suspect this was why my kidneys staged a rebellion.I was urinating blood and in severe back pain due kidney stones back in 2014 for almost 6 months; worst pain of my life.It was badly affecting my quality of life and urologists wanted over $20K for surgical treatments.As a very last resort, I started using this specific brand of chanka pierdra on a referral from my wife’s friend; cold, 2 times a day with a big splash of cranberry juice.In just over a week, I could feel something bouncing around my abdomen whenever I went to pee.Later that evening I passed a kidney stone the size of a Tic Tac!I now routinely drink this mix (or, straight warm with honey) about 3 to 4 times per week as part of my regular diet and have been STONE-FREE for over 6 years.This treatment may not be for everyone; but, I thank the divine goddess every day for guiding me to it.Was recommended this product by a friend after suffering last few years with kidney stones . I get a stone once every couple of years, anything from silt to rocks. 18mm is my personal worse so far, and have suffered through it all until reading about this expensive bag of twigs.Does it work? I dunno, takes all sorts doesn't it?I have 7 stones 1 to 5 mil in both kidneys, had 3 lythotripsy procedures for past stones, this product only works for me if I drink it room temperature to a bit warm before breakfast, mid afternoon and before going to bed 8oz with few drops of lemon extract and honey, not sugar, is helps push the stones , I noticed more round edges than sharp edges when they come out, but I also increase water intake two more glasses of water during the day, I do this routine for 2 to 3 weeks then just water and natural lemonade with honey. most stones come out with this process, but a few that dont want to come out ,then see my doctor and pay him $2000 per procedure. my $20-$50 holistic approach is worth trying first. good luckI initially gave this a three star however it was for the product, not the seller. For the seller I give them a five-star and for the actual product a zero star for this reason: This coming Tuesday I will undergo with a cystolitholapaxy following a CT Scan; This after I drank all of the 3 packs that was provided and the tea was prepared strictly according to the directions!When I advised my Urologist about the reliability of Chanca Piedra, he laughed and said that in his 35 years he had seen all sorts of supplements/teas and none worked. Recognizing that for some who might have been given some relief from using the product, I gave it a three star! I recall reading others who gave it a higher score but in my case I received absolutely no benefit. Now I am still faced with a surgical procedure to laser the stones! If someone else wants to give it a higher score based on medical evaluation, they are free to do so, but for me, the zero stars stands.Excellent product. It works 100 %.
